Worship God In Spirit and Truth (RD31)

    'Rightly Dividing the Word'

John 4:23  "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
We can use every second of our life to worship God in spirit and in truth anytime and anywhere. God is seeking such to worship Him.
As a Christian begins to build the spiritual temple of God, the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to him as he reads, believes and keeps His words. With this truth that God is faithful to His words and promises, he moves forth with boldness to perform his duty at every station in the temple, thereby continuously worshipping Him in spirit and in truth.

In the Outer Court
In outer court, Christians minister to men only. A mature Christian will move between the bronze altar to the bronze laver discharging his duties.

At the Bronze Altar
Whenever a Christian sins, the Holy Spirit will convict him. If he confesses his sin knowing that God is faithful to forgive him, then he is worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
By faith, if he prays for the sick, needy and those with hurts, knowing that God hears his prayers and out of His mercy He may give the gifts of the Holy Spirit to heal, deliver or comfort the brethren, again he is worshipping God in spirit and in truth. So a Christian can continuously worship God in spirit and truth anywhere and at anytime.
As he matures, having been ministering between the altar and laver, where his faith in His word has been strengthened, he can teach and disciple new converts knowing that His words can strengthen their faith and also sanctify them.
Out of gratitude and love, he will praise and give thanks to God for saving, helping and delivering him.
Beware - covetous and depraved televangelists and Christian leaders will be stagnant at this bronze altar for sin because they love the world more than God. Many will lose their salvation when they become false teachers and false prophets teaching wrong doctrines and heresies to justify their greed, lusts and belief.

At the Bronze Laver
John 17:17  "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."
True revival comes when a Christian believes the Bible is the infallible word of God and that he replaces all his favourite pleasures and hobbies (TV, movies, games, Facebook, smartphones, sports and gyms) with God's work by believing Him while reading His word.
As the Christian moves to the bronze laver, he will love to read, meditate and believe the word of God (pure water), and the Holy Spirit will then teach him all things. With truth and the knowledge of God and His words, the Holy Spirit will renew his mind to help him slowly put off the deceitful lusts of the old man as he is being sanctified.
He will become merciful, humble, loving and full of the fruit of the Spirit. He will then be able to teach and disciple new and younger Christians.
So when a Christian shows mercy, he is worshipping God in spirit and truth because by faith, he believes His word that God will be merciful to him.
Eph 4:22-23  that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Baptized into Christ's Death
Rom 6:3  Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Before the priest could enter the Holy Place, he must washed himself thoroughly. Similarly, before a Christian can enter into the Holy place he must be baptized into the death of Christ to be holy.
With his body crucified, he is free from sin and from the corruption of the world.
Rom 6:6-7  knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.
